1. Who we are
This website, www.paulforciniti.com, is operated by Paul Forciniti Culinary Consulting ("we", "us", "our"), a hospitality and restaurant operations consulting practice serving clients in the United States and internationally.
For any question about this policy or about how your information is handled, contact us at hello@paulforciniti.com.
2. Scope
This policy covers information collected through this website. It does not cover information you provide to us outside the website — for example during a consulting engagement, by direct email, or in person. Information shared inside a client engagement is governed by the terms of that engagement.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you give us
When you submit an enquiry through a form on this website, we collect the information you enter. Depending on the form, this includes:
- First name
- Last name
- Business email address
- Project type
- Operational status
- Estimated timeline
- A description of your project and operational goals
All fields on our enquiry forms are required. We ask for this information in order to understand your enquiry and respond to it.
Please do not submit confidential or proprietary information through our website forms. If you need to share sensitive operational or financial information, contact us first and we will arrange an appropriate method.
3.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, our hosting provider and any analytics tools in use may automatically collect standard technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring website, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit.
3.3 Information we do not collect
We do not sell products or take payments through this website. We do not operate user accounts, logins or membership areas. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 years of age.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by a website.
4.1 Strictly necessary cookies
This website is built and hosted on the Wix platform. Wix sets a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to function — for security (cross-site request forgery protection), session continuity, and page caching. These cookies cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
Observed cookies in this category: XSRF-TOKEN, bSession, ssr-caching.
4.2 Site analytics
We use the analytics built into the Wix platform to understand how this website is used. It records site sessions, unique visitors, which pages are viewed, where traffic comes from, and approximate visitor location. This is aggregate reporting about site usage; we do not use it to identify individual visitors.
We also use Google Search Console, which reports how this site appears in Google search results — which queries show it, how often it is clicked. Search Console reports on search results, not on individual visitors, and does not set cookies on this site.
4.3 Advertising and third-party analytics cookies
We do not currently use third-party advertising or third-party analytics cookies on this website. We do not run advertising campaigns through this site, and no advertising pixel is active on it.
If a browser that visited this site under an earlier configuration still holds cookies from a previous analytics or advertising setup, those cookies are no longer set or read by this website. You can clear them through your browser settings at any time.
4.4 Controlling cookies
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of this site from working. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's browser add-on.
5. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your enquiry and discuss whether we are a fit for your project
- Communicate with you about a potential or ongoing engagement
- Maintain records of business enquiries
- Understand how this website is used and improve it
- Comply with legal and record-keeping obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
6. Legal basis for processing
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — responding to business enquiries and operating this website
- Consent — for any non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, where required
- Contract — where processing is necessary to enter into or perform a consulting engagement
- Legal obligation — where we must retain records
7. Who has access to your information
- Wix.com Ltd. hosts this website and processes form submissions and site analytics on our behalf, as our service provider.
- Google, through Search Console, which reports on this site's appearance in search results.
- Email service providers used to receive and respond to enquiries.
- Advertising and third-party analytics providers, if and to the extent the tools in Section 4.3 are active.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.
Some of these providers may process information outside your country of residence, including in the United States and Israel. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a reasonable record of business correspondence, and thereafter only as long as required for legal or accounting purposes. Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting configured in the analytics tool.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your information
- Object to or restrict how we use it
- Ask us to transfer it to another provider
- Withdraw consent where we relied on it
- Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under California law.
To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@paulforciniti.com. We will respond within the time period required by applicable law.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information submitted through this website, including transmission over HTTPS. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is why we ask that confidential and proprietary material not be sent through website forms.
11. Links to other websites
This website links to external sites, including LinkedIn and Instagram. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their policies separately.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always posted on this page with its effective date. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" line above.
